Dear Xiaowei,

　　It’s been weeks since we last talked. I miss you very much.

　　Being far away from home, I am always thinking about you and our parents. I wanted to go home earlier last month, but later I didn’t because of the bad weather.

　　Last week, I called home when mum talked about you with me. Obviously she worried about you very much because you didn’t follow her advice. I know the reasons, but I don’t understand why you were so stubborn at that time. You could sim* pretend to obey her, but not make her worried all the time. You should have known that she is so vulnerable and she is so weak. In fact, I always worry about mum’s health and avoid making her worried.

　　Recently, I am thinking about the coming future of our family. Next year, I am going to Beijing for graduate study in the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. There are no tuitions there and I won’t have to pay for the residency.
