一、教材分析
1、教材简析
本单元的主要话题是谈论健康,此课为本单元的第六节课,主要讲述一位名字叫做Jane的残疾人对待生活的态度,是一篇阅读课文,通过阅读,使学生明白谁是真正的残疾人。
2、教学目标
⑴知识目标:

二、学情分析
枯燥的话题很难提高学生的学习兴趣。在这节课,通过一个有趣的假想的话题--假如你是一位残疾人,你会怎么做,来激起学生的兴趣,让学生主动谈自己的想法和看法,学有所得。
三、教学方法
本课采用任务型阅读教学法,用Ifyouareadisabledperson,whatdoyoudo?这个问句,引出谈论假想情况的话题。
采用提问、启发、讨论和归纳的教法,让学生易于接受教材内容,理解阅读内容,培养学生的语言运用能力。

1、它以《英语课程标准》中的具体要求为依据,每册教科书每个单元的教学目标都有详尽而具体的体现;
2、它特别注重学生语言实践能力的培养和训练,关注学生学习方式的形成;
3、充分体现新的教学理念和教学思想;
4、教学内容生活化、情景化、人文化,贴近学生实际。

教材结构和体例
起始版《义务教育课程标准实验教育书·初中英语》是初中零起点起始的教材。由于师资、教学设备等各方面因素的制约,目前全国大部分地区不能在小学阶段开设英语课或不能达到小学英语教学的目标。起始版教材供这部分地区的初中开始学习英语的学生使用,并保证他们的初中、高中阶段的英语学习能够顺利衔接。
教材围绕中国小孩LiMing,加拿大小孩Jenny,小恐龙Danny为主的一群中学生的学校、生活为中心展开,以单元话题形式编排,以系列化的交际活动方式发展,注重多种学习方式和手段的运用,注重生活情趣和情境化教学,并2注意学科知识的交叉。让学生在轻松愉快中接触大量的英语,在熟悉的情景中开展学习活动,使陌生的语言生活化、通俗化。
初中起始版1、2册中,教材以图片和卡通插图为主,以文字为辅,注重培养学生的听说能力,兼顾学生的读和写方面的能力。初中起始版3册中,教材逐步过渡为以文字信息为主,以图为辅,并大量使用与课文主题有关的真实图像资料,以展示中西方文化,强调知识和语言信息,注重听说、阅读综合能力的培养。教材体现学习活动化的原则,编写设计了多种类型的语言练习和活动(例如形式多样的单元课堂项目project),使学生始终保持兴趣和信心,循序渐进的学习和使用语言。
教材共6册。1-4册每册8个单元,5-6册每册6个单元;每单元8课,其中1-7课为新课,第8课为复习课(可根据需要安排测试)。每个单元内容可以用8-10个课时完成。
整套教材的编排不以语言知识为重点,但提倡教学中引导学生发现和归纳语言规律,并在教材每单元中对语音、语法、功能意念等作了系统的呈现和总结。如:
语音——从初中起始版2册开始,接触拼读规则,衔接版1册和起始版3册开始,系统引入国际音标和读音规则,使学生能按国际音标正确地读出单词。
语法——采用归纳法而非演绎法引入语法规则。先接触,再归纳。从初中起始版1册开始引导学生体会词法或句法规律,起始版3册(衔接版1册)开始逐步进行了系统的语法项目的总结。
功能意念——根据单元话题和学生的语言发展规律对功能意念进行了系统的安排,并呈现在每单元的第8课中。
词汇——起始版词汇总量在2300左右,其中掌握1400左右词汇和200左右习惯用语和固定搭配;衔接版词汇总
量在3000左右,其中学会使用1500左右词汇和200左右习惯用语和固定搭配。

教案背景
本课的对象是刚进初中不久的七年级新生,心理上,他们好奇、好表现;生理上,他们活泼好动,善于模仿、注意力易分散、爱表现自己,希望得到老师的表扬。
本课涉及的内容---动物是他们熟悉和感兴趣的话题,他们都有切身的体验和认识,因而他们对本文所描写的内容不会陌生。通过小学几年的英语学习,学生对eat、sleep等动词以及如何表达已有了一定的掌握。
但根据平时上课的观察了解,由于缺乏必要的语言基础,学生在知识基础方面基础较为薄弱,学生的整体英语语言运用能力偏低,对某些任务的完成有一定的难度;部分学生存在不自信、羞于表现等思想顾虑。
抓住这些特点,应采用形象生动、形式多样的教学方法和学生广泛的、积极主动参与的学习方式,积极调动课堂气氛,激发学生的学习兴趣,创造条件和机会,鼓励他们勇于张嘴,让学生有机会表现自己,享受成功的喜悦,从而增强他们对英语学习的自信心,在学习过程中发展综合语言应用能力。
教材分析
·这篇课文的内容涉及野生动物、动作的单词以及用Whataretheydoing?表达现在或现阶段正在进行的动作,用Let’sgoto?来表达自己的意愿。用一课时进行教学。

教学反思
我感觉这一课的内容较少,而要在一节课的时间里处理少量的知识确实有难度;加之里面涉及的现在进行时和一般现在时是本课的要点,新课程目标倡导“轻语法”,这并不意味着不涉及语法知识;同时我所面对的是农村学生,他们对新鲜事物颇感兴趣。为此我从精讲多练的角度,采用多媒体与黑板相结合的方式设计了本节课。课件设计灵活多样,教学活动穿插进行,既有师生互动又有生生互动,大量的语言操练便于学生逐步掌握知识,安排比较合适。所要调整的是:第一,幻灯片播放速度应适中,便于学生做笔记。第二,教学环节中应适当设计让学生亲手绘画生活当中所见动物,可培养学生动手能力,同时可调动学困生的参与热情。

2.教材的地位
本课时教材是对前两个单元描述自己和他人体貌有关形容词词汇的一个扩充和所学句型的拓展。使学生的词汇量在原来的基础上有一个提高,同时使他们掌握描述自己和他人的身高的问答方式。
二、说教法
1.教法设计
七年级英语作为初中英语教学的起始年级应该把培养学生的学习兴趣、调动学生学习英语的主动性作为教学重点,根据学生的认知规律,我采用了合作教学法和任务型教学法,让学生通过提问,回答,观看,欣赏,阅读、思考、调查、交流和合作等方式学习和使用英语,完成学习任务。

五、教学难点:
难点是能够听、说、读、写四会单词;并能根据某一情境使用含有形容词比较级的句型替换关键词进行问答。Point和metre的发音也是本课的教学难点。

准备录音机、本课时的录音带、幻灯片。
七、教学过程
Step1:Warmup1、Greetings用八个问题来复习以前学过的描述自己和他人的句子,涉及到了姓名,性别,年龄,班级,喜爱的颜色,喜爱的衣服,来自某地,是否喜欢英语等来让学生对自己进行描述,然后又给出了一点信息让他们着信息资料进行统一描述,之后又给出他人的资料进行描述别人,学生情绪高涨,教学效果比较好,最后我描述了自己有加入了新句型来说出了我自己的身高,并让他们来说这样的身高是高还是低,之后来询问学生们的身高来引出本节课的内容。引导出形容词tallorshort,引出问句Howtallareyou?以及答语I’m------metrestall.Step2:Presentation1、根据导学案上提出的问题进行逐个问答,学习并运用新的句型,给学生3-5分钟时间以组为单位进行练习,之后在叫一组同学进行示范。根据调查表提出问题Howtallisyourfather?Heis_____metresold.练习之后得出Yourfatheristallerthanyou.Youareshorterthanyourfather.这块给学生扩充了形容词的比较及,再后来给出图片让学生进行直观观看以比较身高,练习描述别人的身高以及运用形容词。小组合作练习本课新句型,老师叫出几个基础比较好学生上台表演来给其他学生起一个表率作用。
2、用图片上的内容进行比较,用手势帮助学生理解以下句子:Aistall.Bisshort。

big______small反思:从整节课来看,由于学生基础差,英语水平参差不齐的原因,课堂上极容易出现冷场,在新课的学习过程中刚开始学生由于紧张,害怕得的原因都不敢回答问题,没办法我只好尽量去鼓励他们,并且把单独提问改成了集体问答,教学中根据学生的这些特点,用形体语言,适时的微笑激励性的表扬与肯定来消除学生的顾虑,活跃课堂气氛,给学生更多的参与机会,让学生有更多的时候操练,通过这节课我充分的认识到,学生有很强的求知欲,要去发现并激发他们,让学生去询问,去发现,去欣赏,只有这样教师才能在学生成长的同时,自己也得到成长。
